The Opacity of Transparency
This painting symbolizes the layers of perception our fallible senses are capable of detecting utilizing a flat planar model of the universe as a map of sorts. The frame reduced to a finite scale with borders, time rivers flow from the north, south, east and west.
The top level represents our plane of existence, caught in the current that flows and swirls in all directions. Cracks in our perspective begin to form with greater scientific understanding, revealing with increasingly clarity the true nature of the cosmos.
