Maple Slab Bench
This beautiful slab of maple floats under a windowsill discretely inhabiting the space and co existing with the surrounding furnishings. I worked together with the client, determined to allow his vision to be best reflected by reality. A hand rubbed oil finish provides a warm natural glow and accentuates the wood grain figure. I made some custom modifications on the wall mounted brackets, welding a reinforcing diagonal bracer for extra support.
