Cycle
The focal point of this sculpture is enameled copper shaped in the form of a spiraled hour glass. This references both the cyclical nature of time and our method of imposing incremental divisions to record and attempt to control it. The bracketing pieces impart a sense of reverence, creating an altar where time is an object of worship.
